Dr. Michelle Blewitt AUSMAP & Bea Farley: Microplastics on Australian Beaches
AUSMAP, The Australian Microplastic Assessment Project, is a global first, nation-wide citizen science program designed to document and analyse microplastic pollution in Australian aquatic environments. Future solutions to the devastating impacts of plastic pollution will be built on the data AUSMAP extrapolates and shares.
The Total Environment Centre (TEC) and Macquarie University’s are the Project leaders, along with a consortium of research, not-for-profit, environmental education, government and sustainable business organisations.
