Are you working in community groups or not-for-profit organisations, and would like to host regular AUSMAP sampling?

roles & responsibilites

  • Undertake AUSMAP field surveys at least 4 per year at 1 site

  • Upload data on microplastics and macro debris

  • Send microplastics samples to Macquarie University, Sydney

  • Submit participation information and evaluations

The AUSMAP program is integrated into year 7-12 science and geography courses. If you're interested in running an AUSMAP program within your school,

it is suitable for:

✓ Year 7-12 students and teachers

✓ Depth Studies

Become part of AUSMAP team! Whether you have scientific or research background, or just passionate in environment and conservation, we are always looking for volunteers to join us.

Please note we are currently not in the position of providing regular volunteer vacancies. However, we always welcome people to help in our sampling events.
