Clean Up Australia Day with AUSMAP at Brighton Beach SA

AUSMAP (Australian Microplastic Assessment Project) is a nation-wide citizen science project designed to engage and educate students and communities about microplastic hotspots on our shorelines - from coasts to catchments.

AUSMAP will be at Coogee Beach undertaking a microplastic sampling event from 10am to 12pm, and will be run by Program Director Dr Michell Blewitt. This will be a great opportunity for the community to be involved in citizen science, collecting data and learning more about microplastics. Data collected from the day will then be used by our team and the Ocean Action Pod to educate your local community about this issue and help be part of the solution.
